I only work over old brows or lips on a case by case basis. I require that most of the brows be faded and there be no scar tissue in the area.

  • Most of the time, it’s a personal choice when debating between nano shading or ombré powder brows. Both techniques can be natural or bold. If you like a faded “ombré” look, then I would suggest ombré powder brows. If you like the look of hair strokes & shading, then I would suggest nano shading. If you have very thick brows naturally and you just want them fuller then I would suggest ombré powder brows. If you’re > 50 years of age or have mild-moderate sun damage, I would also suggest ombré powder brows. If you have severe sun damage, then permanent make up is not for you.

  • Brow specific:

    • I choose the shape by taking your natural brows, facial structure and anatomy into consideration. I use my special tools to measure your brows and facial structure to come up with the best shape for you while asking you questions to guide me in the direction we are going for.

    • I always show each client an outline of the shape prior to starting and will make tweaks to it if needed.

    • As far as the color, I mix pigments to match the color of your actual brows . We can always go a shade lighter or darker than your natural color, but keep in mind that it’s always easier to add and darken vs taking away and lightening. It does not matter what the color of the hair on your head is, we need to match your BROW hair color, not your head hair color (ex. If your hair is bleached blonde but your brows are naturally a medium brown, then I am tattooing a medium brown color into your skin NOT blonde).

    Lip specific:

    • We do have to stay within the borders of the lips to yield best results. There is often times lip skin that has no pigment around the borders, so we can tattoo over that area and add color to make the lips look fuller. I will outline the shape of your lips prior to starting to get your approval and make tweaks as needed/warranted

    • As far as the color, bring a lipstick shade in with you that you’d like for me to match. I recommend flesh tone colors to have beautiful lips long term. If you are paler in complexion, you can choose colors with warm or cool undertones. If you are tan-dark brown/black in complexion, warmer colors will suit you best because all pigment will heal cooler into the skin once tattooed. I can help with undertones as long as you bring a color in with you, do not show me a picture as reference. I need to see the color in person.

I cannot guarantee that the color you show me will look exactly the same once tattooed. Everyone’s skin is completely different and unpredictable. The color your friend may have tattooed that you like may not look the same exact way tattooed into your skin.

Cosmetic tattooing is an art form not a perfect science. I ask that you come in with realistic expectations and have fun with the process. It’s normal to be nervous, but I am here to give you my best work and want to have trust between the two of us!

  • Make sure you are staying hydrated the days leading up to your appointment. Gently exfoliate the brow or lip area a few days in advance and keep your skin moisturized. Pigment takes better on hydrated skin! Stop the use of any retinols 7 days prior. No invasive facial treatments (chemical peel, micro-needling, etc.) for 2 weeks prior. Avoid alcohol and coffee for 24hrs prior to your appointment to avoid swelling and bleeding during procedure and come in with freshly washed hair!

    Lip specific:

    • IT IS CRUCIAL THAT YOUR LIPS ARE NOT CHAPPED ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT, SO MAKE SURE YOU DO EXFOLIATE AND MOISTURIZE THEM. I MAY TURN YOU AWAY ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT IF YOUR LIPS ARE DRY AND CHAPPED AND WILL CHARGE HALF THE SERVICE FEE. PIGMENT WILL NOT TAKE IF THE LIPS ARE CHAPPED.

    • If you have a history of Fever Blisters, Cold Sores or Chicken Pox, please get a prescription for an anti-viral medication prior to any lip procedure to help decrease your chances of an outbreak. Even if you haven’t had an outbreak in years, the virus lives dormant in your body and the sensation from the needle can trigger an outbreak on your lips.

    • If lip fillers are desired, they must be done 4 weeks in advance and must wait 6 weeks after.

  • No invasive facial treatments for at least 2 weeks before and 4 weeks after. No retinol or Retin A, 7 days before appt. and 4 weeks after. avoid blood thinners such as Aspirin, Heparin, Vitamin E, Niacin, Warfarin, fish oil, etc. for 2 weeks prior. Make sure you get permission from your doctor before doing this if it is a prescribed medication.

NO facial sweating for 7-10 days after.

    Brow specific:

    • If you’re going on vacation to the beach, please book your vacation 4 weeks after your service because you CANNOT be in the sun for 4 weeks after to prevent the area from exfoliating. Start applying SPF to the brows after 2 weeks when outside

    • NO Botox for 2 weeks prior and 4 weeks after to give the Botox enough time to settle.

    Lip Blush specific:

    • If lip fillers are desired, they must be done 4 weeks in advance and must wait 6 weeks after.

    • Avoid spicy or citrusy foods for 2-3 days after

    • Drink through a straw for 3 days

    • Avoid kissing/friction the first day

    • Avoid direct sunlight for 2 weeks and start applying lip balm with SPF after 2 weeks

  • Brow specific:

    • The procedure takes about about 3-3.5 hrs. Please allow a 4 hour window for your appointment.

    Lip blushing:

    • the procedure takes about 4 hours, please block out 5 hours to ensure we have enough time.

  • Brow specific:

    • The brows are fully healed around 4 weeks and any touch ups can be done after that period as well as exfoliating the area. It is normal for the color to fade 30-40% and for it to be patchy after the first appointment.

    Lip blush specific:

    • The lips take 6 full weeks to heal. Some days your lips will be lighter and some days they will be darker, that’s why it is important to wait 6 full weeks to see healed results. The color normally fades about 50%.

    • Lip blushing healed results vary person to person. Some clients will yield very strong healed lip color while others may heal with slight color retention. Clients with scar tissue or sun damage should reach out prior to booking.

    • Hyperpigmentation can happen on any lip client without warning but is most common in those that have a darker complexion. This is because the skins response to the procedure is to produce more melanin on the lips after they have been worked on. Most of this will go away within 6 weeks as the lips heal and even out.

  • I suggest you come with your hair freshly washed. For the next 14 days after your appointment, you cannot get the eyebrows wet in the shower. You can get a blowout at a local salon or have somebody at home help you wash your hair during this time. You will still be cleaning your eyebrows during the 14 days but only with a special cleanser I provide you with. During the 14 days, only the products I give you will be on your eyebrows. Avoid all tap water, shampoo, conditioner, etc. on the brows during the 14 days.

LIP BLUSHING has a 7 day healing process and you can indirectly wet them in the shower, but DO NOT soak the lips in water. You must still try to keep the area dry during the 7 days.

  • Lip blushing will not take the place of fillers if you desire more VOLUME. Lip blushing can create the impression of bigger lips by adding color, but it cannot add more volume. Lip fillers and blushing are very commonly done hand in hand. If you desire lip fillers, please either wait until 6 weeks after your lip blushing appointment or do it 4 weeks in advance. I only tattoo over actual lip skin; I’m not going outside of your lip margin, so it does not impact your results if you do get filler. If your lip fillers have migrated to outside of your lip margin, please send me pictures prior to booking.

  • Retinols must be stopped 1 week prior to your appointment and resumed 4 weeks after your appointment. Avoid applying retinols around the brow area or lip after they’re healed as this will accelerate the fading process and alter the color.

  • Everyone has a different level of sensitivity. Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the treatment to alleviate any discomfort and on average clients say it’s a 3 on a scale of 1-10.

  • There’s no downtime associated with any treatment. Your brows may be red after the producer and feel like you have a sun burn, but most of that will minimize within 24 hours.

Your lips may be swollen, bruised or red immediately after and most of that will also go away within 1-2 days.

  • It lasts at least 2-3 years without needing a touch up, depending on each client's skin, retention, and lifestyle. It slowly fades with time, you won’t wake up one day and they are gone. There may even be a hue of pigment left behind in the skin long term.

Sunblock is strongly encouraged on a daily once the eyebrows or lips heal (2 weeks after procedure) to extend the life of your brows or lips.

Exposure to UV days will deteriorate your pigment and leave behind grey/ blue tones in your brows, so please be mindful of blocking those rays! As pigment fades, warm colors can fade faster, leaving behind cooler colors. That is why sunscreen is super important!

  • Brow specific:

    • Your first touch up (which is mandatory) will be 6-10 weeks after your first appointment. After that, you can come in for a touch up 9-12 months from your last appointment for $200 or come in 13-24 months from your last appointment for $300. If your eyebrows are fading faster, then please come in for the 9-12 month touch up instead. After 24 months, you will be required to pay full price again. 1-2 year touch ups are recommended to maintain the eyebrows but not mandatory.

    Lip blush specific:

    • A mandatory touch up is required within 6-12 weeks from last appointment to perfect the lips. The more touch ups that are done, the more saturated the lips will become.

  • Unfortunately, I can't. I always try my best to ensure every client is pleased with their results, but I always like to tell all my clients that this isn’t a perfect science. How the skin will react is different for everyone and many factors are to be taken into consideration. Skin type, age, scarring, diet, stress levels, metabolism, facial products used, etc. all play a key role in how the pigment will hold. I can guarantee that I will strive to make you pleased and content every time but ultimately only time will tell how well your skin reacts to this procedure. Please come in with realistic expectations!

  • Please be confident with your decision to get any form of cosmetic tattooing because it does last a long time and fades slowly. I don’t perform “trendy” brows or lip techniques for the simple fact that it’s a fad that won’t be popular anymore within a short time. I want you to have something that will look good on your face long term. I currently don’t offer removals of any kind. Laser and saline removals are both effective in lightening cosmetic tattoos. The kind you may need depends on how your cometic tattoo looks.
